Hello
I'm Renee Smith, mama bear to two little adventurers, Charlie and Ollie, and lucky wife to the amazing Chandler. Originally a nomad from 'everywhere', I've settled in Grand Junction after exciting pit stops in Denver, North Carolina, Virginia, and my wild childhood in Alice Springs, Australia.
We followed the call of the great outdoors to the Western Slope, and boy, did we fall head over heels for this community! Raising our munchkins here fills my heart with joy. When I'm not diving into work at the Western Colorado Community Foundation or spreading childbirth wisdom, catch me tearing up trails on foot or bike, or frolicking in the snow up on the Mesa with my family.
My Story
I have a passion for pregnancy and childbirth and am excited to turn that passion into action to help other women have a positive childbirth experience. I am dedicated to supporting women throughout their childbirth journey. With Strong Mamas, my goal is to establish a nurturing community where women can access resources and feel confident and excited as they navigate the wonderful path of pregnancy and childbirth. I am privileged to be a part of each mother's exceptional and remarkable story. Your strength exceeds your imagination, and I am here to help shape a joyful and empowering birthing experience.
